GENERAL INFORMATION
The T-2 toxin Quantitative & Rapid Test Strip kit (Immunofluorescence Assay) is intended for use together with FD-100 or FD-600 Immunofluorescence Quantitative Analyzer to quantitatively determine the concentrations of T-2 toxin in cereals, grains or feeds for laboratory testing or on-site testing.
The whole testing process takes about only 15 minutes(7mins for sample pretreatment and 8mins for detection). T-2 toxin is extracted from the sample using 50% ethanol in water. T-2 toxin interacts with Time-resolved fluorescent microparticles in the lateral flow test strip and the fluorescence intensity in the test and control zones is measured by the Immunofluorescence Quantitative Analyzer and displayed as parts per billion (ppb) T-2 toxin.
PRINCIPLE OF DETECTION
The T-2 toxin Quantitative & Rapid Test Strip is based on Time-resolved Immunofluorescence lateral flow technology platform. T-2 toxin antibody labeled to the Time-resolved fluorescent microparticles then bound to the conjugation pad can detect any T-2 toxin appeared in samples.
The fluorescence intensity of the test line is inversely proportional to the concentration of T-2 toxin in the sample.When insert test card into Immunofluorescence Quantitative Analyzer, the fluorescence intensity of test line(T-line) and control line(C-line) can be interpreted by the Analyzer and the concentration of T-2 toxin in the sample can be calculated by the built-in standard curve.
The result can be displayed on the screen and available for printing or downloading, also can be easily transmitted to the laboratory information system.
